Friday, May 31, 2013. Of course, I had no energy for riding much farther than a couple of miles. I did participate in Bike to Work Day on May 17 even though it felt like a cheat.
Both of these rides are multi-day rides but are supported. I want to do rides that are not supported. In May of this year, I did a 3 day, non-supported, ride with a friend. Details of that ride are at 2014 RUSBRST Ride.
Friday, June 22, 2012. On the last day we rode the 40 miles to Clinton. Along the way was the highest point on the trail. We finally made it to the end of our almost 240 mile trip. My bike computer actually showed 271 miles because of the additional riding I did while exploring some of the towns along the way. Thursday, June 21, 2012. The ride to Sedalia was 25 miles.
